Just when we all started breathing a sigh of relief after a year of living in fear and isolation. It now feels as if we are in a backslide from our recovery from this COVID-19 pandemic. It’s been more than six months now since mass vaccinations have been underway. Yet only 50 percent of the U.S. population is fully vaccinated, per the U.S. Coronavirus Vaccine Tracker. With rippling unease around Delta, couples are again expressing their concerns and considering postponements regarding their upcoming weddings. They want to know to proactively prepare for various outcomes.
Your wedding day is meant to be one of the happiest and most important days of your life. You’ve spent months planning every detail and spent thousands of dollars to achieve the perfect day you’ve always envisioned. Despite how meticulously you’ve planned everything out, there’s always the possibility that something will go wrong. Perhaps a tropical storm hits the beach you’re supposed to have your destination wedding on. Or your maid of honor slipped and broke her wrist days before the wedding. For these kinds of instances, wedding insurance is the best way to protect you from losing your entire financial investment.
Your wedding is day is one you’ll remember for the rest of your life. With that in mind, many couples choose to go big with the wedding dress, rings, food, flowers, and decor. This is likely why the average wedding we plan costs around $35K to $45K. You’re planning to spend over tens of thousands of dollars or more for your dream wedding. It makes sense to purchase insurance that can reimburse you if parts of your wedding don’t go as planned or if your event must be canceled or postponed.
A wedding I was invited to has been postponed…when do I purchase a gift? What if the couple opted for a virtual wedding or elopement instead of a bigger event? How much should you spend on a gift if we’re not attending the wedding? Here’s everything you need to know about wedding gift etiquette during […]
This is the moment you’ve been waiting for. You just said “yes” to the man or woman of your dreams. You’ve got the ring and you’re getting married! Congratulations! While you may still be floating on cloud nine, we know that you’ve got a lot of work to do and we’re here to help you […]
It’s a wedding planner’s job to expect the unexpected, however, I don’t believe anyone could’ve prepared for the current state of weddings. With the social uncertainty surrounding gatherings these days, planners are being forced to pivot so that they can get their couples married in a new, “socially distant” way. Truth be told, we’ve been […]
If you have been forced to postpone your wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic then there is a good chance that you are facing some really tough decisions right now. The one we have been hearing the most about is what is the best way to reduce the guest list to accommodate a new venue, […]
One question couples most often have when starting to plan their wedding is do they need a wedding planner if their venue is already providing them with a coordinator? There’s no doubt that both have value on your wedding day, and both a wedding planner and venue coordinator want to see your wedding run flawlessly. […]
I am sure that you were thrilled when you got the call that the wedding dress of your dreams had finally been delivered to the bridal shop…or you would have been ecstatic if you hadn’t had to postpone your wedding for a full year, right? If you are suddenly filled with dread at the thought […]
Weddings worldwide have been postponed thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. While we are accustomed to sharing handshakes and hugs during milestones and celebrations, with the entire world maintaining social distancing, this may not be the only change we can expect to see with future weddings. Our ‘new normal’ for celebrating will likely be more intimate […]
