Shanice & Carlos’ First Baptist Church Wedding

Shanice and Carlos share a fairy love story.

Prince Charming marries his beautiful Cinderella and this beautiful couple gave us all the feels!

Shanice, a devoted mother of three who has also dedicated her life to caring for the elderly, she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. We were delighted when we met Carlos and came to find that he was her perfect match.

Planning to marry in June, Shanice and Carlos selected the beautiful First Baptist Church for their ceremony and the wonderful Pastor McCarroll to perform the ceremony. As he shared stories of this beautiful couple there wasn’t a dry eye left in the house.

Opting for a combination of slate gray for the maid and matron of honor and buttercup yellow for the bridesmaids, Shanice and Carlos not only were able to incorporate their favorite colors, but ensure that everyone looked their loveliest on such a beautiful June afternoon. The icing on the cake was the gorgeous, locally grown flowers, adorning all in the bridal party from Master Gardeners, Biron Case and Connor Moss.

Brothers and cousins, these boys were all too happy to celebrate Shanice and Carlos’ union. During the ceremony their boys were so moved by the pastors kind words about their parents they became so overcome with emotion everyone had to take a moment for some hugs and love.

Following the ceremony, everyone made their way to the reception where they enjoyed food from a dear family friend, Chef Tom, who had an amazing team that kept the guests full of all sorts of savory goodies…and speaking of goodies, the cupcakes created by the groom’s cousin Shanale Anderson were absolutely divine! Tony T. Sanders kept everyone dancing all night long until we sent this lovely couple off on their honeymoon!
