Marian and Steven’s Boho Wedding at Steel Magnolia Barn
From the very beginning, this sweet couple was destined to end up together. While they may share their love of sweet kitty cats, travel, all things foodie, and Tennessee Walking Horses, what really makes them kindred spirits is their shared last name. They were both “Wright” from the start, so of course, “Two Wrights Can’t Be Wrong! Good thing they tied the knot at Steel Magnolia Barn.

The second “Wright” decision this beautiful couple made was choosing to have their wedding at the gorgeous Steel Magnolia Barn. Their ceremony, held on the pier overlooking the turquoise blue waters of their stunning lake, joined by their friends and family, Marian and Steven exchanged their vows making them husband and wife.

And it wasn’t just love at first sight with Steven & Marian…when they saw the stunning reception barn and romantic outdoor patio accented by string lights, crystal chandeliers and warm wood tones, selecting the venue to host their nuptials was an easy decision.
Following their lakeside ceremony, guests were greeted with passed appetizers and beautiful charcuterie display along with a delicious meal with a fun southern flair provided by Nashville Events & Catering.

What truly captivated us almost as much as the beautiful bride was the dreamy boho decor created by Sheila Hines Floral Designs. Sheila brought their dreams to life from the pampas accents in the arbor to the dried strawflowers woven throughout the table garlands (dried by the bride herself!!) to the elegantly cascading bouquet that Marian carried down the aisle. Using only locally grown florals, we only wish that we could post scents as well as images of these blooming beauties!

What’s a wedding without a delicious dessert to round out the evening? This decadent, nearly naked wedding cake and rich, chocolatey groom’s cake from Julia’s Homestyle Bakery were a real hit with guests of all ages. We are pretty sure we caught several guests going back for seconds…and who could blame them!

The couple spent the evening sharing laughs, and dancing the night away with their friends and family thanks to the celebratory mood set by Choice DJ. We certainly are glad that Markella Kyprios Photo was on hand to capture all the lovely memories made by this terrific couple and all their loved ones. At the end of the night, the Wrights said good evening with a sparkler send-off as they left for their honeymoon and a beautiful start to their happily ever after!
