Nicole & Austin’s Steel Magnolia Barn Wedding

Nicole & Austin’s Steel Magnolia Barn Romantic Nashville Wedding

From the very beginning, this sweet couple was destined to end up together. Their love story spans decades. From high school sweethearts through college graduation they have laughed together, danced together, supported one another. They have shared life’s ups and downs as an unstoppable team.

Both the bride and groom came from very tight knit families. The overwhelming outpouring of love and and support for their union was palpable throughout every aspect of the day. From Nicole getting ready with her mom right by her side to her amazing team of bridesmaids ensuring that every single detail was just as she had always imagined it.

He loved her first, so Nicole shared a first look with her father before anyone else saw her. It was incredibly moving to see just how happy she was and how thrilled her father was. She was going to marry such a wonderful man. Clearly her father provided her with an excellent example of who she should marry.

When it came time for Austin to see Nicole for the first time he was speechless. He just kept saying, “Wow!” Who could blame him. His soon to be wife certainly did look stunning! He spun her around as they danced together and laughed. It was clear that they simply couldn’t wait for the preacher to pronounce them husband and wife!

The absolute excitement running through the entire congregation as the ceremony began was electric. There was a hum of happiness that could be felt vibrating in waves across the crowd. This amazing couple, who had been together for such a long time would finally be a family. Austin was bouncing in anticipation as Nicole glided down the aisle on her father’s arm. He had the biggest smile you have ever seen.

There is no denying it that their adorable daughter and flower girl extraordinaire absolutely stole the show. Ava not only sprinkled her petals like a pro. She stopped to smile and wave at each guest as she made her way down the long aisle. Her parents couldn’t have been prouder!

Cheers and shouts of joy could be heard for miles once they were officially pronounced husband and wife. We aren’t sure who was more excited for this union. The bride and groom, perhaps. Or maybe all their loved ones who had gathered from all points around the country for their Nashville wedding. It was certainly time to celebrate all that love, friendship and family.

No one is closer to the bride and groom than their family. Except the friends they have chosen to be their family, perhaps. Of course, not every Nashville wedding features a cityscape, either. They had acres of surrounding farmland and even a few curious cows for their wedding at Steel Magnolia Barn.

The beautiful bridesmaids in blush each had their own style of dress. It clearly suited their personality and sense of style. These lovely dresses were from Bella Bridesmaids. They were accented perfectly with flowers that the bride carefully designed into bouquets herself from Ling’s Moment.

The handsome groomsmen were all suited up in navy with matching blush ties looking quite dapper. Their threads were compliments of JM Street Menswear and Tuxedo. The boutonnieres were also hand crafted by the bride with flowers from Ling’s Moment.

Following the ceremony guests we invited to enjoy appetizers and signature cocktails on the patio. Once it was time to be seated they were dazzled with the very carefully selected decor and table scapes. Featuring handcrafted farm tables laden with lush greenery, white roses and flickering candles in both clear and navy glass cylinders and accented with wooden cross back farm chairs, Nicole and Austin’s vision of their Nashville wedding being romantic and rustic had come to life.

Before their guests got restless, Austin and Nicole decided to “speed date” with their wedding guests. This is a fast and fun way to get photos with each and every guest at your wedding. It only takes 3 to 5 minutes. As the bride and groom gear up the DJ explains the rules. Each table has to strike a pose. When the newly weds arrive they slip in place for a photo. Over the duration of one song the happy couple will take on their photo dash. We got some real winners from this competition to be sure!!

Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner provided by Magnolia Lane Catering who offered wonderful southern comfort food. The delightful signature cocktails from Bar-Tenn were a real hit. As was their adorable white bar trailer named Wilson. Finally, it was time to cut the cake! The bride’s decadent dessert was from Julia’s Homestyle Bakery. It was a delicate almond cake with raspberry filling. Like the bride and groom, it was paired perfectly with the extra rich and fudgy chocolate cake that the groom selected for his featured dessert.

Then, of course, it was time for dancing!! And boy oh boy did DJ Cole Coleman know how to get this crown on their feet!! There wasn’t a single person who wasn’t out on the dance floor. The real challenge, however, was keeping up with our fabulous flower girl Ava. She has got some serious dance moves, y’all!

Anytime we didn’t see the newlyweds on the dance floor we would find them sneaking away for stolen kisses. They are clearly very much in love. We know that by the end of the evening they were very much looking forward to their tropical island honeymoon. Who could blame them? Paradise, here we come!

Before guests left they we treated them to an adorable late night snack to replenish their energy after all that dancing. “All Because He Popped The Question.” The mini bags of buttered popcorn, kettle corn and cheesy cheddar corn we a real hit!

At the end of the evening there were more joyous shouts and declarations of love. Austin and Nicole, now husband and wife, made their way through a tunnel of revelers. Everyone was waving sparklers as they hopped into their getaway car. They were off to begin this next wonderful phase of their lives together. This Nashville wedding was truly one to remember!!
