You just know true love when you see it. We definitely saw it when we met Fred and Diane. They had come to Nashville on a business trip and were so excited about eloping! Carefully dancing around each other for years, Fred finally got up the nerve to make his move. He persistently, yet sweetly, pursued Diane. Diane was certainly glad he kept asking because in the end these two could not be happier! Partnering with Elope In Tennessee, we were able to get them set up with everything that they would need. Offering packages that include flowers, a wedding cake, hair and makeup, their officiant, photographer, planner and even a stunning venue they were all set for their Cheekwood Botanical Garden elopement.

Following a beautiful ceremony from our very own Weddings & Events by Raina officiant, Diane and Fred couldn’t stop smiling. Their excitement was electric. Even passersby stopped to cheer and express their congratulations to the newlyweds. We are so glad they chose to marry with our sister company Elope in Tennessee! Ivory Door Studio was there to take photos of their Cheekwood Botanical Garden elopement know they will treasure. They shared so many special moments together on their wedding day.

Proposing with a stunning sapphire, Fred then added to Diane’s jewelry collection. For their wedding bands, Fred got Diane a beautiful diamond infinity band. Diane got Fred a custom made baseball wedding band. The only thing Fred loves more than Diane is baseball. GO CARDINALS!

Diane’s beautiful bouquet was created for her by Larson Floral Co. The fragrant roses and anemone were almost as lovely as the blooms of their wedding venue, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens.

Selecting the beautiful Cheekwood Botanical Garden as the backdrop for their elopement we quickly began to make the necessary arrangements. There were so many gorgeous gardens. Such a wide variety of greenery and blooms. We were all hard pressed to find a favorite location within the collection of gardens.

We suspect that Diane and Fred’s favorite garden was the Secret Garden. They were able to sneak away during their Cheekwood Botanical Garden elopement for snuggles and kisses. These two were just the most adorable! So much love!!

Being big fans of history and architecture, Fred and Diane were eager to explore the historic mansion and grounds of Cheekwood. Legend has it, the massive home was built to house a massive gilt mirror purchased by Mabel Cheek. The mirror was too tall for their home. She said that they would either have to sell the mirror she loved or build a house to fit it in. After setting out these options Leslie Cheek, Sr. kept his word and built his wife a bigger house. Combining their names, tastes and interests, Cheekwood was created. “Cheek” being Leslie’s name and “Wood” being Mabel’s maiden name is where the grand estate gained its moniker.

After quite a bit of exploring we waited for Fred’s signal. He was waiting for the right garden. The perfect moment for their first dance. We had their special song all queued up ready to play. Once Fred tipped us off that he found the perfect place we hit play. They shared their first dance as husband and wife creating a beautiful memory for them to share.

We are just so happy that Diane and Fred chose Elope In Tennessee for their elopement planning. All they had to do was pick up their marriage license when they arrived in Tennessee and we took care of all the additional details.

What a wonderful job you did planning this gorgeous elopement!!
What a beautiful location for an elopement!
