Price & Haley’s Beautiful Cactus Creek Wedding

Haley and Price’s romantic wedding at Cactus Creek Barn was absolutely stunning. We are so glad that Dani Purington Photography was there to artfully capture all the beautiful details as they made memories with those that they love the most.

The day began with the expert stylists at Cognito Hair Salon primping and pampering the bride and her lovely ladies. Everything from hair to expertly applied makeup…they certainly looked amazing! Haley even had a special visitor who kept popping his head in to “neigh” in approval!

The Wedding Gown

When your lace wedding dress is as beautiful as Haley’s it deserves special mention. With an invisible back detailed with dozens of tiny satin buttons and a fitted bodice, Haley was an absolute vision. The trumpet skirt flared out just beyond her hips into a long sheer lace train. Just stunning!

Haley Dons The Dress

Once hair, makeup and bridal bonding was complete Haley’s mother Diane assisted her into her beautiful bridal gown. The entire gown floated as she walked adding an ethereal air to her look. The sheer lace and delicate shimmering bead accents made her like a princess. You have to agree…she was a showstopper!

Price Suits Up

While Haley was busy getting gorgeous, Price was donning his three piece suit. We thought that he looked quite dapper. Don’t you? We know that while he certainly won’t be able to take his eyes off of Haley, the feeling will certainly be mutual!

The First Look

Haley and Price snuck away from their loved ones for a moment together before the wedding ceremony. Hiding up in the hay loft of the Cactus Creek Barn they stole kisses and exchanged private words of love during their first look.

The Wedding Ring

Everyone kept asking to see Haley’s wedding and engagement ring set. Why wouldn’t they? It was absolutely lovely with the delicate halo of diamonds surrounding the center stone. It was perfectly paired with the diamond wedding band Price picked out just for her. His ring was made of polished whiskey barrel wood set into a titanium band. Also just as unique and lovely!

The Bridal Party

The bridesmaids, in their blush chiffon dresses, created a delightful visual as they stood by Haley’s side. The groom and groomsmen wore matching dark blue suits all looking incredibly handsome. They created a perfect picture for a romantic summer wedding. And they were all such a fun group! Even the tiniest bridal party members!! They didn’t stop dancing, singing and joking around keeping the atmosphere light and festive the entire day.

Making a New Friend

While strolling the expansive property of The Cactus Creek Barn, Haley’s new friend wandered over to say hello. Clearly he wanted to give his stamp of approval to Price making sure they start their marriage off on the right ‘hoof.’

The Wedding Ceremony

Cactus Creek Barn was the perfect backdrop for their wedding ceremony. Price and Haley’s good friend Matt officiated their wedding in the outdoor pavilion. Even though these sweet nearlyweds had a private first look, Price was clearly overcome with emotion. It’s hard not to love a groom who tears up the first time he sees his bride walking down the aisle. Once their rings were exchanged, they kissed and were pronounced husband and wife. We are sure the cheers could be heard all around. (Especially those heard from their very enthusiastic flower girls and ring bearer!!)

The Floral Decor

The gorgeous blush, ivory and burgundy accented bouquets created by Larson Floral Co. were accented with a variety of eucalyptus and greenery. These beautiful bouquets were the perfect accent for the blush bridesmaid’s dresses. And who could not be bowled over by their beautiful ceremony flowers! Large boughs of hydrangea, garden roses, mums, wax flowers, thistle and eucalyptus…such a stunning array of blossoms!

The Cactus Creek Barn

Cactus Creek Barn is a versatile two story venue. 8″ x 8″ timbers support the barn while sunlight dances through the open slats. The weathered barn is set by a winding creek with a pebbled shore, coming by it’s rustic charm honestly.

Traditions at Cactus Creek

Our favorite Cactus Creek Tradition is that all their couples are asked to take a stroll along the creek and pick out a rock to decorate. They can add a word, message, or picture that embodies them as a couple. When they’re finished, the stone is added to the ever growing collection leaving a little of what makes them special to bless future couples.

Eat, Drink and Be Merry!

Offering signature his and hers cocktails as well as a full bar to choose from, Smed Events had a sipping station that was as fun as the food. Uncle Bud’s Catfish offered all of the southern favorites. Everything from Nashville’s signature sides to the amazing catfish they are so well known for…in addition to pulled pork and chicken as well. With so many offerings the guests were well fed and glad to enjoy.

Everybody Loves Cake

Locklayer’d Cakes created a delectable strawberry almond cake for Haley & Price’s wedding day. Talk about the perfect flavor for a sultry summer night. They were all too excited to cut into it, too! For those guests who couldn’t wait until it was time to cut the cake there were a wide assortment of mini cupcakes in a variety of flavors from vanilla to lemon to strawberry for them to enjoy.

First Dance

Price and Haley are the perfectly paired. Both free spirited and creative, they absolutely love to adventure together wherever their imaginations may take them. We absolutely loved how they kept making each other laugh and smile all throughout the day. It is clear they are each others favorite person. They have such fun together no matter what they are doing!

Time To Dance!

DJ Who made sure to get everyone out onto the dance floor for the duration of the party. He sure knows how to get people on their feet. They sure had a blast!! We especially got a kick out of the flower girls and ring bearer. Those kids have some awesome dance moves!

The Send Off

Finally, it was time for the lovely lovebirds to head off on their tropical honeymoon. Being sent off to loud cheers of love and celebration they ran through a tunnel of sparklers held aloft by their guests as Price and Haley made their way to their fully decorated getaway car announcing their newlywed status.
