Wild Turkey Ranch – The Perfect Blend of Rustic and Elegance

Picture this…a rustic, charming ranch nestled in the heart of the Tennessee countryside. The sun is shining and the smell of freshly cut grass and wildflowers fills the air. Thomas and Mary’s romantic spring wedding at Wild Turkey Ranch was the perfect blend of rustic and elegant. We are so glad that Melina Masse Photo was there to artfully capture all the beautiful details as they made memories with those that they love the most. It’s the perfect setting for a celebration of love, laughter, and a darn good party!

The day began with the expert stylists at Pink Mantis Beauty  primping and pampering the bride and her maids. Everything from hair to expertly applied makeup…they certainly looked amazing!

Brittany Dons The Dress

Once hair, makeup and bridal bonding was complete Mary’s mother susan assisted her into her beautiful bridal gown. The entire gown floated as she walked adding an ethereal air to her look. It had delicate off the shoulder sleeves that looked like they were made from interlocking vines. Lace appliques and just a touch of beading to finished it off. Mary absolutely looked like a princess. Her bridesmaids matched but were mismatched which created a delightful visual as they walked down the aisle. Selecting their own styles, they perfectly complimented the beautiful bridal gown. We loved seeing what antics these sisters would get up to. From the time they arrived they were laughing and teasing as sisters only can.

Thomas Suits Up

Mary and her sisters were primped and prepared for the big moment. While they did so, Thomas was donning his suit. We thought that he looked quite dapper. Don’t you? He and his and groomsmen wore matching black suits all looking incredibly handsome. And they were all such a fun group! They didn’t joking and teasing each other, keeping the atmosphere light and festive the entire day.

The Wedding Ring

Everyone was curious and kept asking to see Mary’s engagement ring, and it’s no wonder why. The center stone was a stunning rectangular cut sapphire set in an art deco band. Resembling a sunburst, it was absolutely beautiful. To add to that, Thomas had handpicked a delicate wedding band that perfectly complemented the ring.

The First Look

Amongst acres of lush green meadow, with warm breeze blowing through the trees, Mary slowly approached her groom. It was clear that Thomas was simply bursting with excitement. It was clear to see that their hearts were racing and their minds filled with anticipation. Finally, the moment arrived. The first look. Suddenly, time stands still as Thomas sees Mary for the very first time. It’s a moment that they will never forget, and one that sets the tone for the rest of their wild and wonderful adventure together. From Wild Turkey Ranch and beyond!!

The Wedding Ceremony

The idyllic Wild Turkey Ranch was the perfect setting for their April nuptials. The ceremony elicited laughter and happy tears from all who witnessed the beloved couple exchange vows. As they sealed their love with a kiss, we’re certain the joyous cheers could be heard for miles!

The Floral Decor

The gorgeous centerpieces created by Flowers by Delfino were bursting with sweet smelling blooms that fragranced the air. Garden roses, tulips, mum, carnation and hydrangea burst forth in an array of color. the arrangements were accented with lush ferns and greenery. These beautiful bouquets were the perfect accent for a spring wedding at Wild Turkey Ranch. Accented with glowing candlelight and carefully crafted origami paper cranes, the centerpieces were a stunning contrast to the vintage white tablescapes and organza blue runners. The luxurious linens added a touch of luxury and glamour creating an atmosphere of dreamy wonderment.

Eat, Drink and Be Merry!

Alright folks, let’s taco ’bout a wild time at a wedding dinner. You’re at the picturesque Wild Turkey Ranch, with rolling hills and pristine cedar glades surrounding you. And what’s on the menu, you might ask? A taco bar! That’s right, you get to feast on your favorite tacos all night long courtesy of the talented Taco Mama catering team. Not only are you getting a delicious meal, but you get to enjoy it with breathtaking views of a firefly lit evening. Mary and Thomas sure made this a fiesta to remember!

Everybody Loves Cake

Jenifer’s Cakes crafted a stunning confection for Mary & Thomas’ wedding day. The cake was adorned with delicately pressed wildflowers and edged with gold leaf. Each tier was as delectable as it was exquisite. They were all too excited to cut into it, too! In the meantime, a mouthwatering assortment of Thomas’ favorite brownies and cookies stood by for those who couldn’t resist a nibble.

First Dance

Thomas and Mary are a match made in heaven. We have never met a couple who are more compatible than these two. With their shared free-spirited nature, creative flair, and incredible empathy, they complement each other perfectly. They are avid bookworms and game enthusiasts, whether it’s an intense board game, exploring the world hand in hand, or a cozy night in. Mary and Thomas are always fully invested in each other! They exude sweetness in their every action, truly one of the loveliest couples we’ve ever met.

Parent Dances

As the sun set on a beautiful day at the Wild Turkey Ranch, it was time for some heartwarming moments on the dance floor. The mother and son dance, Thomas and Rei shared is a sweet reminder of the bond that they share and always will. The father and daughter dance, Mary and Chris shared is a tear-jerker as dads give away their little girls and dance with them for the last time. It’s a moment to cherish forever. But as the music picks up, the party gets wild! The bride and groom take the dance floor and everyone joins in. That’s what a wedding day is all about – celebrating love and making memories with the ones that matter most.

Toasting The Happy Couple

Gathered around beautifully decorated tables are friends and family of the happy couple all eagerly took time to toast Mary and Thomas. These speeches were anything but dull. With an atmosphere as lively as Wild Turkey Ranch itself, heartfelt sentiments and hilarious anecdotes were shared. We are pretty sure even a few happy tears were shed.

Time To Dance!

DJ Ceiz with Cherry Bomb Entertainment, as always, gets everyone on the dance floor and KEEPS them there! He knows exactly how to get people on their feet and having a blast! And the crowd was far from shy about showing off their moves.

The Bouquet Toss

Right before it was time for the newlyweds to leave for their honeymoon, Mary asked if anyone wanted the beautiful bridal bouquet. Naturally, a crowd quickly gathered around the stunning flowers! Ultimately, the bride’s younger sister and maid of honor, Sarah, ended up catching the prized bouquet.

Sparkler Send Off

“Baby, you’re a firework! Come on, let your colors burst. Make ’em go, “Oh, oh, oh!” You’re gonna leave ’em all in awe, awe, awe.”

It seems like when Katy Perry wrote those lyrics, she had Mary and Thomas’ wedding at Wild Turkey Ranch in mind! Amidst loud cheers and sparklers, the newlyweds raced to their getaway car, looking forward to their honeymoon in Japan.
