He provided everything from local beers and seltzers to flavored waters and sodas. The perfect refreshments during the celebration. Colorful Sarees

Snehal’s beautiful saree certainly gave all the women in attendance inspiration for their selected henna designs during her mendhi ceremony. The beautiful flowing skirt and bright splashes of color certainly added a touch of elegance to the celebration. Guests wore a mix of traditional Indian attire as well as beautiful flowing Western sundresses. Both fashions embrace the vibrant and colorful dressing style that Indian culture is known for.

Hiding the Groom’s Name

Our favorite part of the intricate art of mendhi holds a special significance for the bride and groom. The mendhi artist will carefully hide the groom’s name within the intricate designs on the bride’s hands. If you look closely you can spot the “N” in the photo above, for H-A-R-E-N. This is an especially romantic moment as every line and swirl of the henna contains a special meaning between them. To find his name, the groom must search carefully through the intricate design until he finds it. This symbolizes his dedication to finding her in his heart. The experience is both exciting and intimate as they relish in this moment of discovery.

Look Ma! No Hands!!

As Snehal was having her henna applied at her Nashville mendhi Haren realized that she would be unable to use her hands. He then lovingly fed her. She sat with her hands resting on a small pillow as the henna paste was carefully being applied. With great care and attention, Haren fed Snehal small amounts of food. He ensured that she ate despite having her hands occupied. It was a beautiful moment between them that captured the essence of their marriage – strong and full of love.
