Vijaya & Jagdish Celebrate 50 Years at The Bedford

Vijaya & Jagdish’s romantic 50th wedding anniversary celebration at The Bedford was absolutely stunning. We are so glad that Morgan Visual Productions was there to artfully capture all the beautiful details as they made memories with those that they love the most.

The day began with the expert stylists from Ace Henna & Indigo Collective primping and pampering the bride and her lovely ladies. Everyone from her sisters and daughter. Everything from hair to henna even expertly applied makeup…they certainly looked amazing!

The Wedding Details

All throughout The Bedford were little touches of Jagdish and Vijaya. Our favorite thing, however, were the candid photos placed on each table featuring them through the years. Aren’t they a beautiful couple? So very much in love!

Varmala Exchange

During their 50th anniversary celebration at The Bedford, Jagdish and Vijaya recreated a cherished moment from their wedding day by exchanging varmala garlands. The vibrant reds and whites of the garlands mirrored those they exchanged five decades ago, symbolizing their enduring love and commitment. Surrounded by family and friends, the couple was reminded of the many beautiful years they have shared together, creating a touching and nostalgic highlight of the evening.

The Floral Decor

The floral decor for the 50th anniversary celebration dazzled with a symphony of vibrant colors. The lush centerpieces created by Flowers by Delfino were bursting with yellow, orange, purple, and hot pink blooms. Each arrangement meticulously crafted to exude the elegance and joy of the occasion. These lively hues transformed The Bedford into a vivid tapestry, perfectly encapsulating the spirit of this milestone celebration.

Drink and Be Merry!

Offering signature cocktails, wine and local beers, With a Twist Events had a celebratory sipping station to keep the part vibe going. And its hard not to love a bartender who is as thrilled for the happy couple as the attendees are!!

Delicious Dinner

The fabulous food from Golden Pizza & Indian Cuisine had a delicious buffet offering Vijaya and Jagdish’s favorite dishes. Everything from bhindi aloo and amritsari chole to chicken briyani and lamb roganjosh…in addition to many other delectable delights! With so many offerings the guests were well fed and glad to enjoy.

Say Cheese!

Nashville Smile Bar offered a fabulous and festive photo booth. They guests really had a fun time with this! It was definitely a draw for many many selfies as well as photo booth users.

Everybody Loves Cake

Jenifer’s Cakes created a beautiful celebratory cake display for Jagdish and Vijaya. I imagine the cake on their wedding day wasn’t nearly as decadent. Featuring fresh summer flavors like strawberry lemonade, almond, and French vanilla there was something for everyone.

Cutting The Cake

Vijaya & Jagdish could hardly wait to cut their 50th anniversary wedding cake. A crowd not only formed to cheer on this sweet couple, but to taste this confectionary creation they had heard so much about. With guests coming back for seconds and even thirds, there wasn’t a single slice left at the end of the evening.

Celebrating 50 Years of Love

A great time was had by all, but most of all by Jagdish and Vijaya who delighted in having all of those they love most in one place together. Guests mingled outside at on the patio under the string lights, danced to a great DJ who played all their favorite Hindi hits and ate sweets and savories until they could no longer move. This was certainly a party for the ages! We look forward to helping these lovebirds celebrate 60 years when the time comes!!
