Angela & Danny’s Rockabilly Nashville Elopement
When a little bit of rock and roll mixes with old school Nashville, magic happens.
When Angela first called us from Canada to let us know that she and Danny wanted to elope in Nashville we said, “No problem! It’s what we do!!” Then she continued on to say that they wanted to get married at the Ryman Auditorium in two weeks. Well, we love a challenge and what we arranged for them far exceeded their expectations!

We called the Ryman Auditorium only to find that someone else had beaten us to the punch. Someone else has previously booked the date. Angela and Danny, who love Nashville so much didn’t even mind if they only has a quiet ceremony on the steps of the historic venue.

While we appreciated their desire to be flexible. We wanted them to have a more memorable experience. A simple ceremony on the steps simply would not do. After pulling a few strings, we were able to call Angela and Danny to let them know that their wedding would become part of Nashville history! They were going to be the FIRST couple to ever have their wedding held at the historic RCA Studio B.

Needless to say, upon receiving the call that they would be saying their “I dos” in the same place that music greats such as Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Patsy Cline, Chet Atkins and The Everly Brothers recorded some of their greatest hits, Angela promptly dropped the phone and began screaming and jumping around the kitchen much to Danny’s delight.

You see, Danny had been asking Angela to marry him for a decade. Seeing as how everything was just so perfect between them she saw no need to rock the boat. It wasn’t until Angela’s grandfather, on his death bed, gave Angela her grandmother’s wedding ring and told her to have faith and trust in love. He was blessed with over fifty years with the love of his life, and he only wanted the same for his best girl.

Honoring her grandfather’s dying wish, Danny whisked Angela off to their favorite place on earth. The plan was to create some of their happiest memories together.

They arrived at the Historic RCA Studio B. Being the passionate music lovers they are, there was a reverent silence, It was as if they were entering hallowed ground. The silence was quickly dispelled with smiles and laughter. They were both bubbling over with excitement! Angela and Danny looked like they stepped right out of the golden age of Nashville music. Danny even wore a designer recreation of the jacket that Elvis Presley wore when we married Priscilla! Angela, who has one of the most beautiful smiles in the world, glowed in a black and white polka-dot Rockabilly dress, red heels and lipstick.

Thankfully, talented Nashville, photographer, Jenna Henderson was on hand to capture every single memory they created. Taking their vows during their musically themed wedding ceremony they became husband and wife. They hired us to plan every last detail. They also asked us to officiate as well. Every element was perfectly curated. Right down to the feathery florals to match her shoes to perfection. Created by Wildflowers, LLC for our bride. How could we not have a custom written ceremony for them as well?

To further cement their place in Nashville’s iconic history, the audio engineer at RCA Studio B surprised them as well. He played “Can’ t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis and “Pretty Woman” by Roy Orbison, two of their favorites for their first dance as husband and wife. Both songs were originally recorded at the historic RCA Studio B.

To say that their wedding day was perfect, is truly an understatement. Angela & Danny said that they felt they knew us for years. Because they never imagined they would have such a perfect wedding. Making Nashville history. Creating music history. It was beyond perfect. To quote the bride, “Our wedding was a dream come true. More than we could have ever asked for. Without Raina (and her amazing vendors) we never would have had, what turned out to be, the most amazing day we could have imagined.”
