Charmaine & Ramon’s Intimate Nashville Wedding

Charmaine and Ramon had been friends since they met after their families emigrated to America from the Philippines. They were instant friends and confessed that before meeting, neither believed in love at first site. Well, fate certainly turned that idea up on its end for them! It wasn’t soon after that they began dating, that they knew fate had brought them together for their Nashville wedding. It was clear they were destined to be together all eternity.

Despite the uncooperative weather, we were able to set up a beautiful and romantic ceremony site in the secluded courtyard of Edesia, in East Nashville. Adorned with roses, wildflowers, fresh herbs and candlelight, the scene was was fragrant with flowers and fresh summer rain.

Accompanied by his best friend from childhood, Ramon made his way to the lush arbor covered altar as he prepared to make his vows. The excitement in his step was quite evident as his best man had to keep reminding him to slow down for the photographers. He just couldn’t wait to be Mr. and Mrs.!

While she was equally excited, Charmaine took her time as she and her mother walked slowly to the ceremony site taking in the moment committing every detail to memory.

Laughs were shared and tears were shed. A beautiful ceremony was given with many words of love, encouragement and a reminder to truly live in each moment, sharing in the joys and sadness that life would bring. What a wonderful Nashville wedding!

Cheers and shouts broke out from the intimate group of close friends and loved ones gathered together for their pronouncement of husband and wife. The excitement was electric! Guests couldn’t wait to celebrate Charmaine and Ramon.

Following dinner, provided by Edesia, a unique fusion restaurant in East Nashville, the cake was cut and enjoyed by all.. Especially the utterly adorable and remarkably patient flower girl and ring bearer who had been eyeing this confectionary creation all evening.

Thankfully, by the time cake was consumed, the skies had also cleared. Allowing Charmaine and Ramon to have their first dance together under the stars at their Nashville wedding.

Then, Ramon and Charmaine asked all their closest friends and loved ones to gather together. Since toasts were not made by the maid of honor or the best man, the happy couple decided to give one of their own.

Thankfully Ma-Anne Hewitt Photography was there to capture all the excitement at their Nashville wedding. They chose to get married on Father’s Day because Ramon had just learned from Charmaine that by the time they celebrate their one year anniversary, he, too, will be a father! I am sure you can imagine the cheers, tears, love and hugs that rippled through out the crowd at that announcement!!

We are all so eager to meet the little one! Hopefully they will share their newborn photos with us as well. Either way, we know that this is one very lucky child. Being born into a family with boundless love and energy, creativity and kindness. Not to mention, a real love for the Fast and the Furious!! Check out this end of the evening bridal portrait.
