Thomas and Brittany’s romantic autumn wedding at The Historic Corinth Church of Christ was absolutely stunning. We are so glad that Blue Dahlia Photography was there to artfully capture all the beautiful details as they made memories with those that they love the most.

The day began with the expert stylists at Cutting Edge Salon primping and pampering the bride and her maids. Everything from hair to expertly applied makeup…they certainly looked amazing!

Once hair, makeup and bridal bonding was complete Brittany’s mother Angel assisted her into her beautiful bridal gown. The entire gown floated as she walked adding an ethereal air to her look. With the delicate off the shoulder sleeves, lace and beading she absolutely looked like a princess. You have to agree…she was a showstopper!

While Brittany was busy getting gorgeous Thomas was donning his suit. We thought that he looked quite dapper. Don’t you? We know that while he certainly won’t be able to take his eyes off of Brittany, the feeling will certainly be mutual!

Everyone kept asking to see Brittany’s engagement ring. Why wouldn’t they? It was absolutely lovely with the delicate halo of diamonds surrounding the center stone. It was perfectly paired with the diamond wedding band Thomas picked out just for her.

The bridesmaids matched but were mismatched which created a delightful visual as they stood at the altar. With two lovely ladies in burnt orange, two in crimson and two in a deep orange they perfectly complimented the yellow of the maid of honor and the beautiful bride. The groom and groomsmen wore matching dark blue suits all looking incredibly handsome. They looked absolutely perfect for this beautiful autumn wedding. And they were all such a fun group! They didn’t stop dancing, singing and joking around keeping the atmosphere light and festive the entire day.

The Historic Corinth Church was the perfect backdrop for their autumn wedding ceremony. Thomas spent nearly a year working to restore the beautiful church so it was only fitting that they were wed there. Thomas’ childhood best friend united them in matrimony with a ceremony that brought laughter and happy tears to all in attendance. Brittany’s brother performed a ritual handfasting honoring their Scottish heritage. Once the rings were exchanged, they kissed and were pronounced husband and wife we are sure the cheers could be heard all around. (Especially those heard from their very enthusiastic flower girl and ring bearer!!)

We need to put the spotlight on this adorable little angels. Addie and Theo adore their Aunt Brittany, but no one (not even their Aunt Brittany) was more excited than these two to welcome Thomas to the family. They absolutely adores Uncle Thomas. They took their wedding duties with the utmost seriousness. So focused on doing the very best job as they walked down the aisle. They also cheered the loudest when Thomas finally became Uncle Thomas. Just the cutest, sweetest little kiddos ever!

The gorgeous crimson, orange, yellow and sunset orange halo bouquets created by Periwinkle & Pine were accented with lush ferns and greenery. These beautiful bouquets were the perfect accent for an autumn wedding in Tennessee. And who could not be bowled over by Brittany’s beautiful cascade of roses and sunflowers. Such a stunning array of blossoms!

Offering signature ciders and cocoa treats, The Drinking Well had a sipping station that was as fun as the food. Mission BBQ offered everything from Nashville’s signature sides to the amazing brisket they are so well known for…in addition to pulled pork and chicken as well. With so many offerings the guests were well fed and glad to enjoy.

Jenifer’s Cakes created a beautiful snickerdoodle spice cake for Brittany & Thomas’ wedding day. Talk about the perfect flavor for an autumn wedding. They were all too excited to cut into it, too! For those guests who couldn’t wait until it was time to cut the cake there were a wide assortment of mini cupcakes topped with Brittany’s signature sunflowers.

Thomas and Brittany are the perfect pair. We have never met two people who were better suited for one another than these two. Both free spirited, creative and incredibly caring. They absolutely love to read and play games of all kinds. Doesn’t matter if it’s a wild D&D session, a rowdy board game or video games. They are all in! These two are just the sweetest couple. We absolutely loved how Thomas couldn’t stop showing off his wedding ring (see photo above). He was just so thrilled that she said YES!

This tradition always gets us tearing up. Brittany and her Dad, Steve was certainly no exception. It was absolutely clear that she is the apple of his eye.

Mary Ellen’s dance with her eldest son was like something straight out of a movie. Not only did these two have all the moves they had us smiling like crazy at how adorable they are. It is quite clear they have cut a rug together before…and often!

While the Best Attendant speech was a little bit more of a roast of their older brother, we all got a lot of laughs from Phil’s speech. It was nicely balanced by the endearing and heartwarming speech from Maid of Honor Lauren who has been Brittany’s best friend since they were in diapers together. Most of all, however, the absolute tear jerking toast given by proud papa Steve. He was just so happy for is baby girl and even happier to welcome Thomas to the family.

As always, Choice DJ gets everyone out onto the dance floor and KEEPS them there! They know exactly how to get people on their feet and having an absolute blast! We especially got a kick out of Uncle Thomas with flower girl Addie and ring bearer Theo. Those three certianly know how to groove!

Just before it was time to send the newlyweds off on their honeymoon Brittany asked if anyone would like the bridal bouquet. Of course with flowers that pretty there was quite a crowd. Even Theo, the ring bearer, wanted to get in on this action! In the end it was Junior Bridesmaid Ally, Thomas’ little sister who ended up catching the prized bouquet.

Finally, it was time for the lovely lovebirds to make their way to their honeymoon cabin in the Smokey Mountains. Being sent off to loud cheers and showered with bubbles Brittany and Thomas made their way to their fully decorated car announcing their newlywed status.
