Kristen and Andrew’s romantic country wedding at the Copper Ridge Event Venue was an absolute dream come true for them. We are so glad that Mikaela Rose Photography was there to artfully capture all the beautiful details. This was certainly a day full of wonderful memories that we know they will cherish forever.

The day began with tasty treats, primping, pampering and lots of great girl bonding. There was much laughter and silliness emanating from the bridal suite. Everything from hair to expertly applied makeup…they certainly looked amazing!

Once hair and makeup for Kristen and her bride tribe was complete the bridesmaids were asked to leave. Kristen’s mother Kara then assisted her into her beautiful bridal gown. The fabric floated as she walked adding an ethereal air to her look. With the soft off the shoulder embroidered sleeves, lace appliques and delicate beading she absolutely looked like a princess. You have to agree…she is stunning!

Once she was dressed she stepped out into the cedar reception barn for a first look with all her bridesmaids. These ladies looked lovely in their own right, but on one could hold a candle to the bride’s beauty.

Meanwhile, while Kristen was getting gorgeous, Andrew was donning his suit. We thought that he looked quite dapper. Don’t you? We know that while he certainly won’t be able to take his eyes off of Kristen, the feeling will certainly be mutual!

Everyone kept asking to see Kristen’s engagement ring. Why wouldn’t they? It was absolutely lovely with the delicate halo of diamonds surrounding the center stone. It was perfectly paired with the sapphire and diamond wedding band Andrew picked out just for her. Quite complimentary to his blue studded band…very much like this loving couple themselves.

Andrew and Kristen never do anything by halves. Not only did they have a traditional first look, but they also opted to take a moment to privately share vows that they had written to one another. Kristen read from her personalized vow book and Andrew ready from a leather bound journal from his alma mater, Lipscomb University where he is now a professor. Following their vow exchange, they presented one another with wedding gifts. We know they will treasure these momentos for the rest of their lives.

The bridesmaids matched but were mismatched which created a delightful visual as they stood at the altar. With two lovely ladies in burnt orange, two in crimson and two in a deep orange they perfectly complimented the yellow of the maid of honor and the beautiful bride

The groom and groomsmen wore matching dark blue suits all looking incredibly handsome. They all looked absolutely perfect for this beautiful autumn wedding. And they were all such a fun group! They didn’t stop dancing, singing and joking around keeping the atmosphere light and festive the entire day.

Pausing by the cross shaped window artfully constructed into the wall of the cedar barn, a beautiful country wedding venue, the bride and groom paused for a moment of prayer. Having a private moment to pray for each other and their marriage was something that was very important to them both. Starting off on a strong foundation of faith…we love to see couples sharing moments like this together.

Built entirely out of local cedar wood, Copper Ridge Event Venue has a rich warm feel. With a cross shaped window build right into the area behind the altar this was the perfect backdrop for their country wedding. Andrew’s father, who happens to be a minister, united them in matrimony. It was a beautiful ceremony that brought laughter and happy tears to all in attendance. Once the rings were exchanged, they kissed and were pronounced husband and wife. We are sure the cheers could be heard all around. (Especially those heard from their very enthusiastic ring bearers!!)

We need to put the spotlight on these adorable little angels. They adore their Aunt Kristen, but no one (not even their Uncle Andrew) was more excited than these two to welcome her to the family. They absolutely adore Aunt Kristen and took their wedding duties with the utmost seriousness. So focused on doing the very best job as they walked down the aisle. They also cheered the loudest when Kristen finally OFFICIALLY became Aunt Kristen. Just the cutest, sweetest little kiddos ever!

Life is in the details so be sure to make yours beautiful. This is something that we advise all our couples of. Andrew and Kristen certainly took this to heart when selecting their personal detail items for their beautiful country wedding. Everything from a veil outlined in Tennessee wildflowers to a tie with the same garden roses in the bridal bouquet. A special softball for our sports loving bride and even a vow book from Lipscomb University where Andrew is a professor. He recently received his doctorate in English literature. (Go Andrew!!)

Wanting to truly remember this special day every day, Andrew and Kristen asked each of their guests to highlight their favorite verse in their family bible. This way, each day when they turn the pages they can look back lovingly at their wedding day and the cherished memories they created.

The lush bridal bouquet, bridesmaids’ lanterns and greenery were provided by The Murfreesboro Flower Shop. The beautiful bouquet featured an assortment of blush garden roses, blue and green thistle and a variety of eucalyptus. It was the perfect accent for a summer wedding in Tennessee. The bridesmaids carried glass lanterns with miniature replicas of the bridal bouquet inside which paired perfectly with the groom and groomsmen’s boutonnieres. Wanting to accentuate their lovely cedar barn, Kristen and Andrew had their cedar farm tables decorates with sheer organza runners and seeded eucalyptus. A feast for all the senses!

The Copper Ridge Event Venue also outdid themselves with a fondue bar during social hour. Once guests were seated they started off their meals with a salad before enjoying everyone’s favorite southern comfort foods. The perfect menu for a country wedding. With so many offerings the guests were well fed and glad to enjoy.

Bakerwee created a beautiful white and peach ombre cake for the wedding day. Complimented by a decadent chocolate cake with chocolate dipped strawberries for Andrew’s groom’s cake. There’s that yin and yang thing again!! Kristen and Andrew were all too excited to cut into it, too! And who could blame them? We sampled both and they were delicious.

Andrew and Kristen are the perfect pair. We have never met two people who were better suited for one another than these two. She is vivacious and outgoing where he is soft spoken and reserved. She is the yin to his yang. They fit like puzzle pieces. And no matter what they are doing they are all in! They are the sweetest couple and he was just beside himself with joy, so happy that she said yes!

This tradition always gets us tearing up. Kristen and her Dad, Jim was certainly no exception. It was absolutely clear that she is the apple of his eye. But then they threw us all a curve ball…literally! Jim was Kristen’s softball coach from tee ball age all the way through high school, so having one last game of catch with her daddy was a must!

Berni’s dance with her son was like something straight out of a movie. Not only did these two have all the moves they had us smiling like crazy at how adorable they are. It is quite clear they have cut a rug together before…and often.

While the Best Man speech was a little bit more of a roast, we all got a lot of laughs. It was nicely balanced by the endearing and heartwarming speeches from Maid and Matron of Honor. Everyone was just so happy that Andrew found Kristen and then Kristen found Andrew. They are even happier to be welcoming them both to their respective families and friend groups.

This crowd certainly brings new meaning to the term “barn dance!” With AJmyDJ getting everyone out onto the dance floor and KEEPING them there it was quite a party! He knows exactly how to get people on their feet and having an absolute blast! This gang certainly knows how to groove and keep this country wedding line dancing well into the night!

Just before it was time to send the newlyweds off on their honeymoon Andrew stole his beautiful bride away for one last dance. While the Weddings & Events by Raina team was busy collecting their guests up for a sparkly send off they had one last moment alone.

Finally, it was time for the lovely lovebirds to say farewell to their guests and make their way to their honeymoon. Being sent off to loud cheers and showered with love, Kristen and Andrew made their way to their fully decorated car announcing their newlywed status.
