Teresa knew that this was her life’s vocation from an early age. Her career in childcare started when she was in high school, and working as a preschool assistant. Teresa’s experience encompasses the age span of children. During her career she has worked as a special needs teacher for elementary students. She has also owned her own in-home daycare. Teresa was the director of a large local early education center. She even worked as a babysitter, teacher, and as a nanny. As a seasoned childcare professional, Teresa is passionate about excellence in childcare. She is always excited to be able to partner with our clients to help them find the best wedding day child care.
Teresa founded All American Sitters in 2020. At that time she had gained experience as daycare owner, director, teacher, nanny and babysitter. She saw a need for a more organized, professional approach to child care. From then on, Teresa made it her mission to make finding quality sitters easier. She created All American Sitters. A company that provides clients with an online searchable database of experienced, background-checked sitters and nannies.
All American Sitters always provides many activities to keep children entertained. Depending on the age range of your group, they offer arts and crafts projects. They host storytime. The sitters bring board games. They even play outdoor games or lead educational nature walks. If a TV is available they will host a themed movie night or have a friendly video game competition.
Teresa suggests that if you choose to provide activities a toy basket is best. Fill it with blocks, dolls, action figures, board games, card games, puzzles, coloring books, arts and crafts supplies, balls and anything electronic. These always seem to be the most popular choices amongst the youngest wedding guests. That said, she can make a game out of anything you provide!
Sitters will arrive at your event with a First Aid Kit (and the hope it is not needed). All employees are CPR and First Aid certified. All employees have a minimum of 2+ years of experience. They have all gone through a rigorous reference verification and background check. They even do a social media review prior to being hired to this licensed and insured child care agency. All American Sitters offers hourly rates for as well as packages for events. These vary in price depending on your need and number of children. Booking rates range from $15 to $1,900 depending on the scope of the project.
