Weddings are always a magical experience. Each one is beautiful and unique, with its own special touches and moments. One of the most exciting parts of attending weddings is seeing how couples incorporate their personal beliefs, cultures, and love stories into their big day. With the assistance of our sister company, Elope In Tennessee, we helped plan a stunning blended micro wedding at Ravenswood Mansion for them. This wedding celebrated the union of a Christian bride and Sheikh groom, with a mix of traditions and cultural elements that made it truly unforgettable.

The Rachel was professionally pampered in preparation for her special day. Hair stylist and makeup artists from Primp This created an intricate up-do with makeup done to perfection. The perfect compliment to her capped sleeve lace wedding gown. Rana donned a cobalt blue suit tailored to fit him perfectly and topped off with a blush pink silk turban edged with gold beading. As they both prepared themselves for their special day, their joy was apparent to all.

A bridal mendhi is a beautiful form of creative expression that has been around for centuries. It is the art of creating intricate patterns on the hands and feet using a special paste made from henna leaves. The designs unique and varied, often combining traditional symbols with modern elements. The darker the mendhi once it has dried the longer lasting your marriage will be.

The groom, dressed in a vibrant blue suit with a blush pink turban, walked down the aisle to the sounds of softly playing music. Meanwhile, the bride, showing off her intricate mendhi that extended from her fingertips to her elbows, was escorted to the altar by her mother. The couple exchanged varmala garlands, a symbol of love in Hindu weddings. The garlands were woven with fresh flowers, and they blended perfectly with the bride and groom’s outfits. The mix of cultural elements made this moment one of the highlights of the wedding.

The sand ceremony is another beautiful highlight of this micro wedding. The couple took turns pouring different colors of sand into a glass vase, signifying their union and the blending of their lives. The result was a stunning, multicolored vase that would serve as a keepsake of the ceremony. The sand ceremony is a beautiful way to symbolize the joining of two people’s lives and make this ceremony truly special.

The wedding cake was another unique element of this micro wedding. The cake was decorated with pink and blue macarons, as well as a cascade of blush and white flowers which made it a truly indulgent treat. From the taste buds to the eyes, the cake was a beautiful centerpiece and complimented the décor of this micro wedding at Ravenswood Mansion.

The tables were decorated with floral arrangements created by the bride herself! The flowers featured soft shades of pink and gray that harmonized with the ceremony decor and varmala garlands exchanged by the couple. They gave the wedding a beautiful and consistent color scheme. The loose leaf tea favors were another elegant touch. With different flavors in small glass cylinders for the guests to take home after the wedding. Along with the floral arrangements, the tea favors perfectly captured the bride and groom’s spirit. Providing small personal touches to made their guests feel welcome.

The blended micro wedding at Ravenswood Mansion was a stunning event. It combined Christian and Sheikh traditions with personal touches. Eveything from the varmala garlands to the sand ceremony. The floral arrangements and the wedding ceremony. It was all a perfect reflection of the couple. The bride and groom’s creative approach added small but memorable touches. Things like the tea favors for the guests and the addition of the love poems in the ceremony that brought them together. Perfectly personalized. The venue, with its picturesque rolling hills, also provided the perfect backdrop for the ceremony and reception. Everything came together beautifully for an unforgettable wedding day.
