Erin and Michelle’s romantic autumn wedding at Ravenswood Mansion was nothing short of breathtaking. We’re thrilled that Christopher McCarthy Photography was there to skillfully capture every beautiful detail as they celebrated and created unforgettable memories with their loved ones.
The day started with the talented stylists at Declan + Mae pampering the brides and their party with exceptional care. From flawless hair styling to expertly applied makeup, they ensured everyone looked absolutely stunning!
Erin Dons The Dress
After finishing hair, makeup, and some special moments of bridal bonding, Erin’s mother and sister helped her into her stunning wedding gown. The elegant lace dress hugged her figure perfectly, flowing gracefully as she moved. Adorned with delicate straps and intricate beading, she truly looked like a princess. Without a doubt, as Michelle would agree, she was an absolute showstopper!
Michelle Suits Up
While Erin was busy getting ready, Michelle was suiting up in her custom ensemble—and looking undeniably dapper while doing so. We’re sure Erin won’t be able to take her eyes off Michelle, though we know the sentiment will be entirely mutual!
Their First Look
With eager anticipation, Michelle awaited the moment Erin would revealed her exquisite wedding gown. As Michelle turned to see her in all her bridal splendor, tears welled up in her eyes followed by love and joyous laughter. The love and gratitude Erin felt for her future wife were unmistakable as well as immense pride and joy emanating from Michelle. In a tight embrace, overwhelmed by the emotion of this moment, this intimate exchange will forever remain etched in their hearts.
The Wedding Rings
Everyone was eager to catch a glimpse of Michelle and Erin’s wedding rings—and who could blame them? These stunning antique bands were flawlessly matched to their wearers. Michelle’s ring featured an intricate design of ivy and roses, while Erin’s showcased a single cushion-cut diamond on an elegant, delicate band.
The Guests Arrival
Erin and Michelle shared an intimate and romantic first look, savoring a quiet moment together away from prying eyes before the ceremony. Fortunately, their bridal suite offered a stunning view of the ceremony lawn where they would soon exchange vows. The seating was arranged in the round, ensuring every guest had an unobstructed view of the brides. As loved ones began to arrive, eager anticipation filled the air, with each cherished guest gathering to witness Erin and Michelle’s heartfelt commitment to one another. Even Erin’s mom was eager for a quick peek!
Sweetest Bridal Party Members
We need to put the spotlight on these adorable little angels. Erin was their nanny growing up. As you can imagine, they adored her nearly as much as Michelle. No one was more excited than these three young gentlemen to welcome Michelle to their little family. They absolutely adore both Aunt Erin and Aunt Michelle. They took their wedding duties with the utmost seriousness. So focused on doing the very best job as they walked down the aisle. They also cheered the loudest when they were pronounced married. Just the cutest, sweetest little kiddos ever!
The Wedding Ceremony
Hand in hand, as they approached every milestone in life, Michelle and Erin descended the grand steps of the mansion, walking together down the aisle. Awaiting them were Erin’s father and Michelle’s sister, both Pastors, their presence amplifying the emotion of the moment. Tears of joy mingled with warm laughter, filling the air with love and celebration. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, heartfelt readings and prayers were shared. With vows that spoke of unwavering devotion and the exchange of rings, Michelle and Erin sealed their commitment to one another. At last, they were married!
The Floral Decor
Erin carried a stunning bouquet of crimson, orange, yellow, and sunset hues, which she lovingly designed herself. She also thoughtfully crafted the boutonniere worn my her lovely wife Erin. The reception tables were adorned with lush greenery, perfectly complementing the literary theme carried over from their engagement party and joint bridal shower. Stacks of antique books paired with elegant gold candlesticks and tableware added a timeless charm to the decor.
First Dance
Michelle and Erin are truly a match made in heaven. Rarely have we encountered two people so perfectly suited for one another. Both are free-spirited, endlessly creative, and deeply caring. Their shared love for reading and games of all kinds is a testament to their adventurous and playful nature. Whether it’s a lively board game, a city-wide scavenger hunt, or an evening of video games, they dive in wholeheartedly.
As a couple, they radiate sweetness and charm. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they stepped onto the dance floor as newlyweds, sharing their first dance. True to their unique style, it was a moment filled with joy, laughter, and an abundance of love.
Eat, Drink and Dance The Night Away!
Maple Street Biscuit Co., Eli LaFlamme & Crystal Bumpus delighted guests with sipping stations featuring everything from signature cocktails to inventive coffee creations—a perfect complement to the food. The Alley on Main impressed with an array of Nashville’s iconic sides and their renowned smoked meats. Meanwhile, Simply Pure Sweets wowed attendees with an assortment of mini cakes and pies in more flavors than one could count. With such a variety of offerings, guests left well-fed and thoroughly satisfied.
After dinner, Music Tree Entertainment brought the energy to the dance floor and kept it alive all night long! Their talent for getting everyone up and moving is unmatched, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and excitement. It’s safe to say not a single guest stayed seated the entire evening!
Newlyweds
Erin and Michelle’s love story is truly something special. From the first moment they laid eyes on each other, there was an instant connection that could not be ignored. Their love is built upon a strong foundation of respect, trust, and understanding. They support each other in every aspect of their lives and have a deep admiration for one another’s passions and dreams. Their relationship is filled with so much love and tenderness, it’s impossible not to feel their beautiful connection when they are together. Michelle and Erin are a testament to the power of love.
Balloon Send Off
At last, the moment arrived for the newlyweds to leave for their honeymoon. Amidst exuberant cheers and the swirl of light up balloons, Michelle and Erin made their way to their car, adorned in decorations that proudly proclaimed their newly married status.
And then they were off to start the next chapter in their choose your own adventure story!!
