Wes and Danette celebrated their Murfreesboro elopement at Steel Magnolia Barn. It was an intimate moment between two longtime friends who fell in love. After living across the street from one another for decades they finally gave in to their feelings and made it official!

This Murfreesboro elopement at Steel Magnolia Barn was perfect. With the backdrop of autumn leaves glowing in the setting sunlight, their wedding ceremony was just stunning. They had a romantic lakeside ceremony as Wes and Danette exchanged their vows. As the rings were exchanged, hearts were filled with joy as they were pronounced husband and wife. Then they sealed their commitment with their first kiss as a married couple.

Danette and her husband have a love story that captures the magic of everyday moments transformed into lifelong memories. For decades, they lived across the street from each other, each harboring a secret admiration for the other. Danette found him incredibly attractive, while he had always had a crush on her. Despite their mutual feelings, shyness kept them from making the first move. It wasn’t until Danette’s children encouraged her to text her charming neighbor that things began to change. Unbeknownst to her, he would often time his trips to the mailbox to coincide with her dog walks, just to catch a glimpse of her. What began as friendly hellos blossomed into a beautiful friendship and, eventually, an unbreakable bond of love. Now happily married, Danette and her husband look forward to a future filled with laughter, love, and countless more excuses to say hello.

As the sun slowly set on Steel Magnolia Barn, the newlyweds began their first dance as a married couple. The gentle strains of “At Last” by Etta James filled the air, perfectly capturing the moment’s emotion. They moved slowly and gracefully, their romantic slow dance reflecting not just their love but also the promise of a beautiful future together. Only having eyes for each other, it was as it they were the only two people in the world.

Speaking of the first dance, Danette certainly stepped into elegance with these exquisite pearl-beaded sandals. With a penchant for uniques shoes, she was all too excited to shoe off her stunning sandals. The delicate gold straps gracefully wrap around the foot, providing a shimmering contrast to the lustrous pearls that adorn both the heel and over the foot straps. A stunning choice for any bride’s special day!

The bridal bouquet was a breathtaking blend of natural beauty, featuring pristine white roses and delicate blue blossoms. Anchored by the charm of blue delphinium and white stock, this bouquet embodied a free-flowing style that captured Danette’s personality perfectly. Accents of seeded eucalyptus add a touch of greenery, enhancing the bouquet’s lushness while lending it an air of whimsical romance.

While that new ring on their left hand may feel odd now, we know that they will learn to love it! Wes could hardly wait to make Danette his wife for life. He just kept exclaiming how lucky he felt that she said yes! They could hardly wait to begin this new chapter as husband and wife together. We are so glad they chose Steel Magnolia Barn for their Murfreesboro elopement.
